If the Chillicothe society were still meeting, we'd probably talk about Chesterton's poem, Lepanto. Might even listen to Christopher Check's great CD about the battle. We'd get to hear him recite the poem, too. Remember Lepanto, Oct 7, 1571. One of the great battles you've never heard of.

Meetings Suspended Indefinitely
Since no one has attended the last 3 "meetings" of the Chillicothe Chesterton Society, there will be no further regularly scheduled meetings. I'll be more than happy to meet or talk with anyone about Chesterton and/or related topics, just give me a call or drop me an e-mail.
I'm thinking about trying to find some folks in Dayton, Columbus or Cincinnati who might be interested in reading and discussing Chesterton. I'll have a much larger population to try to draw from. Holding meetings in any of those locations would only mean an hour and a half drive once a month. That would be no problem.
Stay tuned for further developments.
